Powder Coating Technology: The February chapter program, presented by Bob Cregg of Sherwin Williams, will give attendees an overview of the coatings and powder coatings market, and provide an understanding of how they are made, how they are applied, and apply the knowledge gained to specify powder coatings for different end uses. This program is registered with AIA/CES for 1 Learning Unit.
Bob Cregg has over 30 years in the Industrial Coatings Industry, including 25 year involvement with powder coatings. As Global Marketing Director of Sherwin-Williams Metal Building Products Market, which includes aluminum extrusion coatings, Bob is an active member of the Powder Coating Institute (currently Vice President), and a member of the Chemical Coaters Association International.
Dinner Program:
The Basics of Precast/Prestressed Concrete Design: Participants will explore building design solutions using precast and prestressed concrete products. Learn what precast, prestressed concrete products are and how they are manufactured, including structural theory of prestressing, and quality assurance procedures. Learn about the industry (PCI) certification program of plants, people and performance. Explore numerous examples of architectural and structural precast solutions for numerous building markets. Throughout the session, participants will learn life-cycle benefits and how precast concrete contributes to energy efficient, high performance, and sustainable building solutions. This program is registered with AIA/CES for 1 Learning Unit (HSW).
